It’s not often that you get an interesting video about real flesh and blood lawyers, but this short documentary, courtesy of the New York Times, is a true must watch.

The Times checks in with five female lawyers twelve years after they were first profiled for a story on female associates at Deveboise and Plimpton. Deveboise is one of New York City’s prominent white-shoe firms, an international giant employing some 650 attorneys.

The video, though brief, is powerful and takes an intimate look at gender imbalance in law firms. I’ll let the document speak for itself:
